The UK’s next global superstar Erin LeCount releases her new single, ‘DON’T YOU SEE MY TRYING?’. The single is the fourth track taken from Erin’s recently announced and upcoming sophomore EP, PAREIDOLIA, which is set for release on Friday 27th February via Atlantic Records. ‘DON’T YOU SEE ME TRYING?’ is accompanied by a new music video which is available to watch below.

On ‘DON’T YOU SEE ME TRYING?’, Erin LeCount demonstrates why she is one of the most acclaimed and exciting new artists to emerge onto the scene today, with an artistic vision that is unfalteringly and unmistakably her. The track’s expansive production, which was created entirely by Erin, is coupled with her hauntingly beautiful vocals and lyrics. ‘DON’T YOU SEE ME TRYING?’ has a sound that falls between art-pop and baroque-pop, and it is a track that signifies the lofty trajectory Erin LeCount has in store for her already impressive career.

Erin LeCount’s new upcoming EP, PAREIDOLIA, is set for release on Friday 27th February and takes its name from “the tendency to perceive meaningful connections between unrelated things or ideas” e.g. seeing shapes in clouds, or a face in the moon”.

Speaking about ‘DON’T YOU SEE ME TRYING’, Erin LeCount said:“‘DON’T YOU SEE ME TRYING?’ is a self written and produced song about the euphoria of self sabotaging just when things get good. The danger and joy of giving in to old habits, the manic impulse to throw it all away, a reckless abandon and invitation back into a downwards spiral. A heavy synth bass behind frenzied live strings and fractured vocal chops – sonically flying and lyrically falling. It is a cathartic confession of relapse with no desire to be rescued.”

Speaking about her new UK ‘PAREIDOLIA Tour’, Erin LeCount said:

“The PAREIDOLIA SHOWS are a collection of four exclusive, special performances across the UK to celebrate the release of my newest EP. You are invited for four special nights down the rabbit hole, into the dreamiest downward spiral.”

Speaking about her new EP, PAREIDOLIA, Erin LeCount said:

“PAREIDOLIA is a self-written and produced EP that tells the story of a downward spiral. The tale of falling down a rabbit hole, a willing return to self destruction. The true definition of “pareidolia” is “the tendency to perceive meaningful connections between unrelated things or ideas” eg. seeing shapes in clouds, or a face in the moon. It is a distorted, warped perspective of reality and of self, it’s the brain’s way of seeking familiar patterns that make us feel safe. I have lived vicariously through these songs the last year, crafting them in their intensity and heart and impulse, writing through that distorted lens and playing the unreliable, occasionally paranoid narrator over heavy synth basses, relentless live strings and synthetic shimmery harps.”

In May 2026, Erin LeCount will embark on her biggest run of shows to date with her new UK tour, entitled the ‘PAREIDOLIA Tour’, which will see her play dates in Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, and London, the latter of which will take place at the Roundhouse in what is Erin’s largest headline show so far. Presale tickets go on sale on Monday 16th February at 10:00 GMT, with general on sale starting on Friday 18th February at 10:00 GMT. Fans can sign-up to the presale HERE. A visionary sonic architect and the sole writer and producer of her music, her sound ranges from luscious baroque-pop arrangements to alluring gothic-pop. At the foreground of her music are diaristic lyrics and captivating synths which offer an enchanting interplay of vulnerability and power. The themes within her music explore everything from identity to relationships and the meaning of life. Erin’s influences include Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Lorde, Imogen Heap, Charli xcx, and Sampha.
