The Eagles’ greatest hits album has moonwalked past Michael Jackson’s Thriller to become the best-selling album in history. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is now certified 38x platinum, while their 1977 album Hotel California is now 26x platinum, making it the third best-selling album of all-time. Tim Fraser-Harding said of the news, “Eagles epitomize everything that is iconic about classic, timeless music – from songwriting, vocals, and harmonies, to musicianship, performance, and never accepting second best.
