4x-GRAMMY NOMINATED SUPERSTAR BEBE REXHA BRINGS THE ENERGY WITH NEW SINGLE

“CHASE IT (MMM DA DA DA)” PRODUCED BY BRITISH DJ CHRIS LAKE

LISTEN HERE

May 17, 2024 (Los Angeles, CA) — Today, multi-platinum hitmaker and 4x-GRAMMY nominated global superstar Bebe Rexha shares her new single “Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)” via Warner Records. Listen to the high-energy pop-dance anthem — which was produced by Chris Lake, Sammy Virji, Punctual, and Marco Straus

Rexha first teased the song last month at Coachella, taking the mainstage by storm for her Sunday evening sunset slot, with Rolling Stone calling Rexha a “force to be reckoned with.” See a clip of her incredible performance HERE.

The Los Angeles Times also praised Rexha’s Coachella performance, declaring, “In the war eternal to be the Main Pop Girl, we have a new champion today in Rexha, a songwriting industry lifer who has always been this close to a breakthrough as an artist. After her decadently performed, expertly delivered Main Stage set, it’s safe to say the day has arrived.” Billboard added, “…her evening mainstage show proved that she deserved to be there as much as anyone else, with Rexha — who wore a tight black bodysuit and boots — sounding and looking like every bit the big stage pop star.”

“Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)” comes after the release of Bebe’s majorly successful third studio album, Bebe, last year. The album was stacked with hits including the smash “I’m Good (Blue)” with David Guetta, which became Bebe’s fourth hit to crack Billboard’s top 10, was #1 at Dance radio for a record-breaking 53 weeks, earned her a GRAMMY nomination, and has amassed a staggering 2 billion streams globally. Rexha and Guetta teamed up once again with their massive follow-up track last summer, “One In A Million,” which earned them a GRAMMY nomination at this year’s awards in the new category of Best Pop Dance Recording.

Previously, Bebe made singles chart history with the phenomenal “Meant To Be” (featuring Florida Georgia Line). Certified RIAA 4x-platinum, the ubiquitous song spent 50 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, the longest reign ever by a female lead artist.  Also going #1 at Adult Top 40, “Meant To Be” hit #2 on the Hot 100 and Mainstream Top 40, #3 at AC, Top 10 at Dance/Mix Show Airplay, and Top 30 at Rhythmic, one of history’s rarest multi-format crossover hits. The song has over 4 billion streams, with a radio audience over 3 billion, and the video (directed by Sophie Muller) has over 1 billion views.

“Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)” gives fans a taste of what’s to come from Bebe as she ushers in a new era full of high energy dance-floor-ready bangers this summer.

“Apollo cannot be kept in a box”

Omar Apollo announces that his sophomore studio album, God Said No, will be released on June 28th via Warner Records. Along with the announcement, Apollo offers a preview of what is to come on the album with the new single “Dispose of Me,” which arrives with an accompanying live performance video of the song featuring a 14-piece ensemble. Apollo and the band put a new spin on “Dispose Of Me” as they’re surrounded by Omar’s closest friends and collaborators. God Said No was executive produced by Teo Halm and features musician Mustafa and actor Pedro Pascal. The album title is Omar’s interpretation of “lo que sera, sera” which translates to “whatever will be, will be” or “it is what it is.” The phrase embodies the album with Omar’s tongue-in-cheek humorous outlook on the suffering that comes from surrendering and accepting whatever is thrown at you by life, a relationship or lover.
Arriving a little over two years after the release of his critically acclaimed debut album Ivory which earned Apollo a Best New Artist nomination at the 2023 Grammys, God Said No was born out of the whirlwind that followed his debut and nonstop touring, on his headline tour, in support of SZA’s SOS arena tour along with Billie Eilish’s Latin American stadium tour. Apollo booked a three month stay in London that fall, where he ruminated on walks down rain-soaked cobblestone streets and mined the poems of Mary Oliver, Victoria Chang, and Ocean Vuong for inspiration. Speaking on musical inspirations with Rolling Stone in the May issue, Omar cited artists like Kate Bush, Labi Siffre, Giorgio Moroder, Beyoncé, and Lana del Rey as being in heavy rotation during that time in London.
Camped out in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with his trusted collaborators, producers Halm, Carter Lang, and Blake Slatkin, Apollo built the bones of his melodrama. The 14-track album is a survey of the emotional wreckage that followed the end of a torrid love affair. Apollo borrowed the title from something his friend said while processing the relationship. “I gave it my everything,” Apollo says, “And God said ‘no.’” What began during that London trip resulted in his most soul-bearing and immediate body of work, fine tuned across studios in Los Angeles, NY, and Miami towards the end of 2023.

“Dispose of Me” follows the album’s lead single, “Spite,” which was released last month to fanfare alongside an iconic David Heof-directed music video shot in Mexico City. Just last week, Omar made a splash during his Met Gala debut, wearing a custom suit by LOEWE that earned him Best Dressed nods from The Cut, Vogue, and WWD, among others.

2022 saw Omar Apollo release his debut album Ivory which was widely celebrated for its ability to blur genre lines and language barriers. This translated to the Grammy nomination in 2023 for Best New Artist and earned Apollo commercial success, including a 7-week run on the Billboard Hot 100 for his first RIAA-certified platinum record, “Evergreen (You Didn’t Deserve Me At All).” Omar also enjoyed critical acclaim, landing on year-end lists from esteemed media outlets such as NPR, The FADER, Billboard, Complex, Esquire, and Rolling Stone, among others. Following the release of his debut album, he performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and unveiled his single “Killing Me” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Additionally, Omar was named the first ambassador for skincare brand Youth to the People and is currently the face of LOEWE’s menswear campaign under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson, which Apollo previewed on the cover of the latest issue of VMAN.

Hot Girl Summer Tour Will Stop down in Dublin on July 14th at Dublin’s 3Arena- limited tickets remain

May 10, 2024 – Today, three-time, Grammy award-winning superstar, entrepreneur and philanthropist Megan Thee Stallion delivered her brand new single “BOA,” which you can stream HERE via Hot Girl Productions.

The new single showcases Megan’s fiery bars over LilJuMadeDaBeat’s beat that samples Gwen Stefani’s classic “What You Waiting For?” from 2004. “BOA” also includes a memorable hook that has the Houston native rapping “Doing shit for TikTok, bitch I’m really hip hop, they all know my shit hot, ain’t listen when yo shit drop, all my diamonds dancing I ain’t need to make no TikTok.”

“BOA” serves as the latest installment of Megan’s serpent-themed songs, following recent releases such as “HISS” in January 2024 and “Cobra” in Nov. 2023. The former debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and also became the first-ever, solo female rap song to debut No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200.

Megan kickstarted the music-filled week by bringing back #MeganMonday with the surprise release of her “I Think I love Her Freestyle” on her social media. In the freestyle, the Houston native rapped over the instrumental of Gucci Mane’s iconic song.

Most recently, Megan graced the cover of Women’s Health, where she explained her decision to select the snake motif as part of her rebirth and shared her perspective on how snakes are “feared, misunderstood, respected, healing.”

The new song comes as Megan prepares to kick off the “Hot Girl Summer” Tour – her first-ever headlining arena tour along with special guest GloRilla. The domestic leg of the tour kicks off on May 14 in Minneapolis and wraps in San Francisco on June 23 before she travels to Europe including a Dublin date at 3Arena

Megan and GloRilla recently showcased their collective knack for collaborations when they teamed up to release “Wanna Be.” The song debuted at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in April and led to the creation of the viral “Wanna Be” challenge that took over social media.

Last month, Megan was also honored at Planned Parenthood’s annual gala, where she was presented with the Catalyst of Change Award. The multihyphenate also appeared on the cover of AdWeek and spoke about bridging the intersection of music and business at AdWeek’s Social Media Week conference as the keynote speaker.

DUA SET FOR DOUBLE DUTY AS HOST AND MUSICAL GUEST ON MAY 4TH EPISODE OF SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

Radical Optimism Album Artwork

3x GRAMMY and 7x BRIT Award-winning global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa has released her highly anticipated third album, Radical Optimism. The album features 11 songs including the thumping, rave-up “Illusion,” “Training Season,” and euphoric club-ready “Houdini.” You can listen to Radical Optimism here.

“I wrote this album during my singledom,” Dua says. “I always came into the studio with some funny story, and they all inspired different songs. There’s a looseness and an honesty that I hadn’t had before.”

In making the album, Dua worked with a team of core collaborators including Caroline Ailin, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr. and Kevin Parker.

Dua adds, “Everybody’s backgrounds and ways of working all gelled so well, as friends and musically.” She continues, “We were just so open with each other, and I felt like in that room, I could be vulnerable and talk freely about my experiences. The musicality of it felt so rich and exciting, and I wanted to dive in and be a part of that.”

Dua describes Radical Optimism as “psychedelic pop” noting that “there are musical breaks and a mix of different sounds, and when you listen to it with your eyes closed, it opens up a very visual world.” The album was inspired by Dua’s own self-discovery and speaks to the pure joy and happiness of having clarity in situations that once seemed impossible to face.

Rolling Stone has called the album “pop bliss,” while highlighting it is “uniquely and utterly Dua Lipa: confident dance pop full of witty Instagram-caption-ready one-liners.”

This Saturday, May 4th, Dua will returned to Saturday Night Live where she did double duty as both host and musical guest for the night. Dua was last on SNL in 2020 when she performed “Don’t Start Now,” “Levitating” and made her sketch debut as Marjorie.

Dua recently announced the first run of tour dates in support of Radical Optimism with shows in Berlin, Pula, and Nimes taking place in June, which sold out immediately. In addition, Dua will make her Pyramid Stage debut as the Friday night headliner at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on June 28th and will play a show at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on October 17th, the latter of which also sold out immediately.

LEIGH-ANNE SHARES NEW TRACK ‘FORBIDDEN FRUIT’ – OUT NOW

LEIGH-ANNE SHARES NEW TRACK

‘FORBIDDEN FRUIT’

OUT NOW

Today, Leigh-Anne shares a brand-new track ‘Forbidden Fruit’, the second lifted from an upcoming collection of songs, out now via Warner Records.

Listen to ‘Forbidden Fruit’ here: https://WMI.lnk.to/ForbiddenFruit

Leigh-Anne surrenders to the throes of lust and temptation on this sultry new track. With lyrics dripping with passion and a mesmerising reggae-infused beat, ‘Forbidden Fruit’ continues to perfectly showcase Leigh-Anne’s artistry and sonic direction as an artist. Produced by Albert Hype, and written by Leigh-Anne alongside J Kash and Nija, the track is the second to be lifted from an upcoming collection of songs. The track also arrives with a stunning dance visualiser ‘Forbidden Fruit (Chapter II)’, directed by Nathan James Tettey.

Talking about the track, Leigh-Anne explains: “I wrote ‘Forbidden Fruit’ at a writing camp in Miami, and it’s actually about how André and I met. This one gives me sweaty, sultry, reggae dance vibes. The way the beat drops makes me so excited to bring this one to the stage.”

‘Forbidden Fruit’ follows the heartfelt R&B cut ‘Stealin Love’, and part of an upcoming collection of songs Leigh-Anne created whilst working on her debut album. Speaking about this collection, Leigh-Anne said: “I’ve been writing & recording so much working on my album but while making it, I’ve made a collection of songs that fit together in their own world.” Next month Leigh-Anne plays an intimate headline show which sold out in seconds. This debut solo show will be one of the first chances for fans to hear Leigh-Anne’s new music live.

Last year Leigh-Anne released the garage-infused ‘Don’t Say Love’ and the Ayra Starr assisted ‘My Love’ as she continues to cement her rebirth as a solo artist.

As a solo artist, Leigh-Anne has quickly amassed over 60M global streams, earnt two UK top 40 singles and graced the cover of countless publications including Rolling Stone UK, Glamour and Tush. Experimenting with new sounds, ‘Don’t Say Love’ and ‘My Love’ have so far seen Leigh-Anne embrace genres such as Garage and Afrobeats. ‘Stealin Love’ showed a more raw and honest side of Leigh-Anne as she explored the darker sides to love, while ‘Forbidden Fruit’ is a passionate and sultry banger which sees Leigh-Anne surrendering to temptation. ‘Stealin Love’ and ‘Forbidden Fruit’ are the first taste of an upcoming collection of songs that perfectly showcases Leigh-Anne’s artistry and sonic direction as an artist.

Hotly tipped alternative indie pop artist Rachel Chinouriri today releases her long-awaited debut album What A Devastating Turn Of Events via Parlophone / Atlas Artists.

What A Devastating Turn Of Events is a culmination of the experiences, challenges and joys of Chinouriri’s life so far, explored through the prism of musical stylings honed through years of experimentation and creation. Ever-eclectic and brutally honest, the album traverses life’s light and shade, the writing and sharing a healing process for Rachel, and she hopes, her listeners.

What A Devastating Turn Of Events features the singles ‘It Is What It Is’, ‘What A Devastating Turn Of Events’, ‘Never Need Me’ (with a video starring Florence Pugh) and ‘The Hills’. To coincide with the release Rachel has shared tender album highlight ‘Robbed’, an intimate reflection on grief and loss.

On releasing the album, Rachel shares “This album is a culmination of the beginning of a journey I’ve been waiting to take for a while and to be honest, there were points where it might’ve not happened. I hope people are able to hear my potential and creativity and tune in for many more future albums. This album could’ve gone so many ways but I decided to try and make it reflect on my life and upbringing. I could’ve made it wonky, moody and more experimental but to get to this position has been such a struggle, especially being black and British… and now I’m just ready to have FUN. The topics are sad, but I felt like I was just so sad for years and now I feel like I’m healing and can just have fun and be free now. With releasing this album… I just feel so free and so happy. No matter what anyone thinks, I just am happy that I can hopefully perk more interest and continue to grow and flourish in music”.

On What A Devastating Turn of Events, Rachel Chinouriri is unflinching and mesmerising as she invites us into her world and the experiences that have shaped her to become the person she is today. Despite facing up to the darkest parts of herself and her life – relationships, loneliness, regret, abuse, unconditional freedom, self harm, alcohol abuse and ultimately, death – Rachel asks us to consider the beauty amongst it all too.

The record examines the thoughts that had been swirling around her head: there are more long-standing themes of love, self-deprecation, unworthy exes and finding her boundaries in the album’s first half, but then in the second half, things get heavier.

It’s a turning point,” she says, “Each song represents how you deal with trauma, but on the second half it’s when you get bad news and your world turns upside down.” This is an album which deals with grief, heartache, hurt, and what she calls the “worst-case scenarios” when these things are left unspoken for too long.

“I’m a lot better now,” she smiles, “And all of these topics don’t hurt me anymore, to a degree, but they shaped me and made me the person I am. When these things happen, you will never be the person you were before then, you adapt; and I think this album reflects that. It’s a healing tool, and I’m hoping people listening to it might feel less alone.”

In the process of learning to collaborate with other writers and producers in the creation of her debut album, Rachel was able to create the sonic world that she’d long been searching for. From soft acoustics to shiny indie pop to roaring scuzz, there’s her mellifluous vocal, the sumptuous harmonies, and even occasional bouts of cheeky, chatty speak-singing à la Kate Nash and Lily Allen, through which she builds upon her penchant for candid, lyrical songwriting.

What A Devastating Turn Of Events’ expansive palette was fleshed out with executive producer Rich Turvey (Blossoms, The Courteeners, The Coral), and co-credits include hip-hop behemoth Kenny Beats, and writers like Aaron “Apob” Paul O’Brien, Glen Roberts, Mary Weitz, and her long-term collaborator Daniel Hylton-Nuamah.

April 5, 2024 –The Black Keys released their highly anticipated 12th studio album, Ohio Players, today, alongside a new music video for the album track “On The Game,” co-written with Noel Gallagher, via Nonesuch/Warner Records. Listen to the album here and watch the new video here.

The music video for “On the Game” further highlights the album’s nature of fun, serving as a check-in on fan-favorite Derrick Tuggle, who was the breakout star of the music video for the band’s 2011 single “Lonely Boy.” Also making a special appearance is skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.

Rolling Stone said of the album, which was inspired by band members Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney’s recent “record hang” parties, “Whether they set their retro-rock wayback machine to Memphis in the Sixties, the Midwest in the Seventies, or Manchester, England, and L.A. in the Nineties, it all flows together like a beautifully paced DJ set,” calling it “arguably the sharpest collection of songs the Keys have come up with.” Ohio Players is a fresh departure from the band’s previous releases, invoking brand-new influences while still maintaining the signature, well-loved sound they are best known for. With an emphasis on collaboration, the album features contributions from friends and colleagues, including Beck, Noel Gallagher, Dan “The Automator” Nakamura, Greg Kurstin, Juicy J, Lil Noid, and others.

Mojo states that Ohio Players is “the sound of a band rejuvenated,” echoing Carney’s thoughts on the record: “We had this epiphany: ‘We can call our friends to help us make music.’” Auerbach adds, “No matter who we work with, it never feels like we’re sacrificing who we are. It only feels like it adds some special flavor. We just expanded that palette with people we wanted to work with.”

“We’d never worked harder to make a record,” he continues. “It’s never taken us this long to make an album. We took our time and did it right.”

“What we wanted to accomplish with this record was make something that was fun,” Carney says. “And something that most bands 20 years into their career don’t make, which is an approachable, fun record that is also cool.”

Earlier this week, The Black Keys announced a 2024 North American headline tour in support of the new album. Ahead of this leg of the tour, The Black Keys will also head to Europe to debut their brand-new live show. Tickets for all shows are on-sale now.
