GLOBAL POP SUPERSTAR DUA LIPA RELEASES NEW SINGLE “TRAINING SEASON” – OUT NOW

GLOBAL POP SUPERSTAR DUA LIPA RELEASES NEW SINGLE TRAINING SEASON

WATCH THE OFFICIAL VIDEO HERE

Today, 3x GRAMMY and 6x BRIT Award-winning global pop superstar Dua Lipa releases Training Season,” the second single from her upcoming album, out later this year. Alongside the track, Dua has released the music video for Training Season,”.

Speaking of the track, Dua shares, I had been on a string of bad dates, and the last one was the final straw. The next morning I arrived to the studio to Caroline and Tobias asking me how it all went and I immediately declared TRAINING SEASON IS OVER,’ and like the best day after’ debriefs with your mates, we had a lot of laughs and it all quickly came together from there.”

She added, And while it is obviously about that feeling when you are just absolutely done telling peoplemen specifically in this case, how to date you right; it is also about my training season being over and me growing with every experience. I have never felt more confident, clear or empowered. And while it may be that training season is never over for any of us, you start to see the beauty in finding that person to experience it with. You stop looking for the trainees and become more interested in having someone where you are and someone to grow with.

Directed by Vincent Haycock, the Training Season” video opens with Duas voicemail being flooded with apologetic messages and second chance requests. As the song continues, Dua sits alone while shes surrounded by men vying for her attention as the room begins to spin into chaos. Training Season” was written by Lipa, along with Caroline Ailin, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Tame Impalas Kevin Parker, and was produced by Parker and Harle.

Earlier this month, Dua kicked off the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards with an electric medley performance of Training Season,” “Dance The Night,” and Houdini,” which you can watch hereDua will return to the stage at the BRIT Awards on March 2nd, where shes nominated for three awards including Artist of the Year, Best Pop Act, and Song of the Year for Dance The Night.”

In Duas recently revealed global Rolling Stone cover, her upcoming album was praised as pop bliss,” while noting it is uniquely and utterly Dua Lipa: confident dance pop full of witty Instagram-caption-ready one-liners.” In addition to Training Season,” the album will include Houdini,” which has now surpassed 300 million streams worldwide and was recently certified silver in the UK. Upon release, the single went straight to No. 1 on the UK Airplay charts making it Dua’s 11th No. 1 UK airplay record, and became the No. 1 music video in the world on YouTube the week of its release. The euphoric club-ready single garnered immediate praise across the board from the likes of Billboard and Rolling Stone, who lauded the track as a neo-psychedelic dance-floor rager,” to Pitchfork and Vogue, who called it a pop masterclass.” Recently, Dua became the first female artist to have three songs each with over two billion streams on Spotify (One Kiss,” “Don’t Start Now,” and New Rules”).

From playing his first-ever UK show at 150-cap venue The Grace in 2020, to selling out 2300-cap O2 Forum Kentish Town, topping the EP charts, completing a co-headline US tour with Alfie Templeman and supporting both Sir Elton John and Sigrid, Thomas Headon has proven himself an undeniable indie-pop force to be reckoned with. Today the London via Melbourne star releases his brand new single, and first of 2024, ‘Middle of the Night’, after premiering the track on Triple J last night.

LISTEN TO ‘MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT’

“This song to me is the sound I’ve always been trying to achieve, it really blends so many of my influences into one song and feels like a step in the right direction. It’s basically a song about partying non-stop, waking up in the morning and feeling like it is still the night before, your head spinning, the ridiculous plans you make with your friends on nights out that never end up happening and feeling higher and larger than life. I wrote and recorded it with two really great friends (Stephen Barnes & Caroline Pennell) and I think the energy of that really comes through. Anyway I hope people like it, it’ll be awkward if they don’t.” Thomas Headon

‘Middle of the Night’ is the first taste of new music from Thomas since last year’s, Six Songs That Thomas Headon Likes And Thinks You Would Like Too, which included the BBC Radio 1-lauded singles ‘2009 TOYOTA‘, ‘Georgia‘ and ‘W4NNA DO’. Having spent the past two years performing a storm of live shows to frenzies of screaming fans at festivals and sold-out tours across the US, Australia and the UK, Thomas shows no signs of slowing down. Following Six Songs release, Thomas spent the rest of the year playing an array of festivals including Barn on the Farm, Standon Calling and Y Not Festival, headed out on his own intimate UK and EU tour – including a show at Camden Assembly which sold-out within 60 seconds of going live – with support from his good friend and rising retro-popstar, Arthur Hill, before hunkering down in the studio to bring all the stories from his recent travels to life in his upcoming new music.

Thomas Headon was born in London and raised in Melbourne but always dreamt of moving back to the city to pursue music. Arriving in London by himself at the start of 2020, Thomas started to build an incredibly loyal community online, blowing up on TikTok (20M likes / 445k followers) and Instagram (112K followers) with his off-kilter live sessions, tongue-in-cheek charm and remarkable songwriting ability. Learning to write and produce on his own, Thomas had already released two self-written and self-produced EP’s, ‘The Greatest Hits’ and ‘The Goodbye EP’ (including lauded single ‘UrbanAngel1999’ which features on Netflix’s hit series Heartstopper) in 2020 before releasing the Victoria EP which cemented his place as a “proper star” in music – now signed to Warner Records and selling out live dates across the world. Since Victoria’s release, Thomas has earned over 100M streams worldwide and was chosen as one of Amazon Music’s Artists to watch and MTV Push’s Ones to Watch. One of the first artists to curate Spotify’s Our Generation playlist, Thomas’ blend of playful alternative pop that speaks to the Gen-Z experience has been compared to the likes of the 1975’s Matty Healy (NME), and critically praised by Triple J, who named him a “seriously impressive force in pop music”, as well as BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Clara Amfo, Greg James & Jordan North.

JASON DERULO LIFTS THE VEIL ON NU KING / THE MULTI-PLATINUM SUPERSTAR’S FIRST ALBUM SINCE 2015 – OUT NOW

JASON DERULO LIFTS THE VEIL ON NU KING

THE MULTI-PLATINUM SUPERSTAR’S FIRST ALBUM SINCE 2015

27-SONG PROJECT FOLLOWS FIRST-EVER COLLABORATION FROM

CHART-TOPPING INTERNATIONAL ICONS JASON DERULO AND MICHAEL BUBLÉ

NU KING PRESENTED ON RELEASE DAY WITH GOLD PLAQUE BY ATLANTIC RECORDS

LISTEN TO NU KING HERE

Chart-topping sensation Jason Derulo officially kicks off a new era with Nu King. The 27-song project is available to stream now via Atlantic Records HERE. As his boldest body of work yet, he collates a handful of fan favorites such as “Acapulco,” “Slow Low,” “Swalla,” “Lifestyle” [feat. Adam Levine], “Love Not War” [feat. Nuka], and more alongside various newly recorded anthems. The project received a special gold plaque upon release from Atlantic Records.

Indicative of his expansive vision, Jason has written and co-directed a 20-minute short film entitled A Dance With Shadows, set to roll out this month. The film will consist of visuals for “Spicy Margarita,” “U + I,” “Mad Love” [feat. YoungBoy Never Broke Again], and “Favorite Song.” Akin to a dark Marvel film steeped in its own otherworldly gangster lore, the action-packed visual moves at the speed of the music highlighted by moments of intrigue, betrayal, seduction, romance, and nonstop twists and turns.

“Nu King is the culmination of my career so far. It’s been nine years since my last full-length, and a lot has happened. I never stopped making music though. A lot of those songs didn’t have a proper home, so I made a place for them. The newer songs are just a piece of my life at the moment. Combining everything, the entire album has a cinematic feel. For the title, King is my son’s name. You can go further, and this is a crowning moment I’m really proud of. 2023 was a preparation year; 2024 is a year of celebrating all of the hard work I’ve put in and what I’ve built.” – Jason Derulo

Derulo is set to embark on the “Nu King World Tour,” beginning on February 22, with dates in Portugal, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Switzerland, and Spain slated through June 2024. BEA AND HER BUSINESS SHARES THE NEW SINGLE ‘ME AGAINST MY HEAD’ – OUT NOW

BEA AND HER BUSINESS SHARES THE NEW SINGLE ‘ME AGAINST MY HEAD’.

LISTEN HERE

HEADLINES LONDON’S LAFAYETTE ON APRIL 9TH EUROPEAN TOUR ALSO JUST ANNOUNCED

19-year-old Bea and Her Business is quickly becoming one of the great new hopes of the UK pop scene. Led by the single ‘Born To Be Alive’, her debut EP ‘Introverted Extrovert’ has already exceeded 42 million streams and resulted in her first airplay at Radio 1. Now Bea builds upon her flying momentum by sharing the new single ‘Me Against My Head’. Teasers for the track has already ignited anticipation, with 2.5 million views on TikTok alone and over 10,000 pre-saves.

A beautifully stripped back piano ballad, ‘Me Against My Head’ finds Bea opening up her inner most insecurities for the world to see. The exquisite, expressive tone of her vocal dares to share those vulnerabilities which so many people face: from body confidence issues to questions of self-doubt in social settings. And yet in spite of its challenging subject matter, it’s a song that possesses the honesty to inspire others. You might be struggling with such thoughts, but it’s entirely normal and natural to feel that way.

Bea says, “I am so excited to share my new single ‘Me Against My Head’ with you all. It paints the brutal relationship that I have had with myself and my body over my teenage years and I think in writing the song, it has allowed me to come to terms with it all a little bit more. Please be warned, it might rip your heart from your chest but it’s worth it, I promise. I can’t wait to hear what you all think!

Bea wrote ‘Me Against My Head’ with the track’s producer, the Grammy and Ivor Novello winner Fraser T. Smith (AdeleSam Smith).

‘Me Against My Head’ emerges as Bea prepares to play just her second headline show at London’s Lafayette on April 9th after selling out her debut headline gig at Omeara late last year, while her first European tour has also just been announced. Her first public performance was on one of the biggest stages imaginable: in front of 100,000 people at a festival in Oslo. That moment also coincided with her first international breakthrough as she landed a Top 50 hit in the Nordics.

Bea started writing songs in childhood. Her ability to capture honest observations and a little caustic humour from universal coming-of-age experiences reflects her early admiration of Lily Allen, while Lana Del Rey and Olivia Rodrigo are two of her current inspirations. But her influences go beyond personal experiences with a particular interest in the art of poetry, most significantly from Leonard Cohen and Kate BinghamBea’s first social media following came with her expressive cover versions, but her own songs have forged a much deeper connection with fans.

Her upcoming tour dates are listed below and tickets are available HERE:

APRIL

9th – London, Lafayette

10th – Paris, Point Éphémère

11th – Amsterdam, Bitterzoet

14th – Cologne, Yuca

15th – Berlin, Maschinenhaus

17th – Oslo, Parktreatret

18th – Copenhagen, Hotel Cecil

Today’s announcement comes with one of Reasonable Woman’s highlights – an instant smash called “Dance Alone,” created with fellow global pop queen and 2024 Grammy Award winner, Kylie Minogue.  The pair previously collaborated on Kylie’s album Kiss Me Once; ten years later, they have teamed up for blissful pop perfection once again.

There is no artist in the world like Sia.  Try to think about an artist who transformed from an in-demand indie pop vocalist and chanteuse into a global pop superstar more than a decade into their career.  Try to imagine that same global pop superstar writing and producing music for many of the other most iconic stars of our time.  And then let yourself think about how Sia Furler has racked up more worldwide streams and hits (6 in the “Billions Club” on Spotify, and counting…) all while never showing her face, never compromising her artistic vision, and never letting anyone else define pop stardom for her.

It’s staggering to imagine any artist doing just one of these things, let alone all of them, over the course of a career that continues to reach new heights.  It’s worth repeating:  there is no artist in the world like Sia.

Her career trajectory is itself a phenomenon.  Starting out in Australia, Sia’s artistic life took a number of twists and turns to put her on the world stage, from singing with Zero 7 to soundtracking the finale scene of HBO’s beloved show Six Feet Under, to writing, co-writing, and featuring on songs for other artists, including Rhianna, David Guetta, Flo Rida.  (It should be noted:  all of these artists had massive, chart-topping hits in collaboration with Sia.)

Her song “Chandelier,” from 2014’s Grammy-nominated 1000 Forms Of Fear, not only changed the way pop music sounds, but it revolutionized the art of music video with the groundbreaking clip starring Maddie Ziegler. More worldwide smashes followed in quick succession: “Elastic Heart,” “Big Girls Cry,” “Alive,” “Together,” “Dusk ’Til Dawn” with Zayn, and “Cheap Thrills” – a Billboard number one single for 8 nonconsecutive weeks.

Over 50 billion audio streams don’t lie. Her Christmas album, released in 2017, has one of the top 10 most streamed holiday songs of all time.  She directed her first feature film, titled Music, in 2021, and in 2022, a song from 2016’s This Is Acting – “Unstoppable” – became a viral sensation, pushing it past a billion plays on Spotify and onto the charts again in multiple countries around the world seven years after its release.  Meanwhile, Sia co-wrote songs for global artists like Miley Cyrus, Diljit, and more.  Her songs continue to soundtrack film and TV across the world, and she even managed to reward Survivor contestants.

And now – there is Reasonable Woman, Sia’s first proper album since 2016.  In addition to the guest vocalists, the album was created with a myriad of incredible collaborators, producers, co-writers, engineers, a who’s who of the pop landscape.  The list includes:  Jesse Shatkin, Greg Kurstin, benny blanco, Jim-E Stack, Rosalía, bülow, Mark “Spike” Stent, and more.

FEBRUARY 2, 2024 – Global superstar and multi-platinum award-winning songwriter Tones And I has shared a new single entitled “Dreaming” [single art below], which she co-wrote with Sam Nelson of X Ambassadors and co-produced alongside Nelson and Randy Belculfine. “Dreaming” is available today on all streaming platforms and joined by an official music video directed by Tones And I, Nick Kozakis and Liam Kelly – watch it HERE.

About the song, Tones And I commented, “‘Dreaming’ is the first song from my upcoming album. I maintain my integrity in my stories, which always come from a genuine place of love, loss and hope. I have found myself subconsciously writing about things I’ve never written about before. I let my music go where it wants to go, and I never try to force it in one direction to suit a trend or style. I hope you like this song and I can’t wait to share more music soon.”

“Dreaming” arrives as Tones And I prepares to embark as direct support for P!NK’s 2024 Australia Stadium Tour. The run begins on February 9-10 with a pair of gigs at Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Australia, canvases the continent, and concludes with two nights at Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on March 22-23. Afterwards, she jets off to Asia for a string of dates in May, and then to Europe for a summer trek [full itinerary below].

Tones And I notably capped off 2023 with the powerful anthem “The Greatest,” which was released in support of the Australia Women’s Football team The Matildas, at the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Earning critical acclaim, Rolling Stone Australia raved, “‘The Greatest’ opens with towering strings before the singer-songwriter’s emphatic words arrive to inspire.Tones And I was also featured on the track “BRING IT ON [Official FIFA Walkout Anthem],” alongside Bia and Diarra Sylla, and produced by RedOne (Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber) which served as the official walk-out song for the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia, and will continue as the official walk-out music for every FIFA match until 2030. Furthermore, Tones And I performed a captivating set ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup final in front of a full house of more than 75,000 spectators at Sydney’s Stadium Australia, and broadcasting out to billions of people worldwide.

Those two tracks landed on the heels of Tones And I’s other 2023 single “I Am Free,” which has gathered millions of streams on DSPs alongside a special ‘Piano Version.’ “I Am Free” followed Tones And I’s single “I Made It” – composed for the Netflix original film True Spirit – her 2022 single “Charlie” and her feature on Macklemore’s “Chant.”  The pair debuted the collaboration on Good Morning America with an electrifying performance in New York City’s Central Park. Furthermore, Tones And I also recently wrapped up a run of dates supporting Macklemore on his UK and Europe spring headline tour.

As an inimitable vocalist, clever lyricist, deft producer, and inventive creator, Tones And I stretches the scope of pop music with unpredictable and undeniable anthems of her own design. Since exploding onto the global scene in 2019 as a busker from the Mornington Peninsula, Australia, she has smashed records, garnered multiple awards, sold out tours, surpassed 10 billion streams and reached multi-platinum heights around the world. Her breakout “Dance Monkey” went 6x platinum in the United States, became the most Shazamed song ever, and minted her as “the first female artist to reach 2 billion streams on Spotify with one song, all while consistently holding a spot in the “Top 10 Most-Streamed Songs of All-Time on Spotify. Her 2019 EP, The Kids Are Coming, crashed the Top 30 of the Billboard 200 and is certified Gold. Meanwhile, Tones And I’s full-length debut, Welcome To The Madhouse, toppled the Australian Albums Chart at #1 in 2021. Among five career ARIA Awards, “Cloudy Day” closed out 2022 as ARIA’s “Song of the Year.Beyond selling out shows on multiple continents, she has delivered stunning performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, TODAY, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, Good Morning America, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and many more. Along the way, she has also collaborated with Macklemore, blackbear, Jonas Blue, Sam Feldt and BIA, in addition to contributing music to NETFLIX’s True Spirit and the blockbuster sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Taking the helm, she personally shapes her vision by not only writing and performing, but also producing and directing visuals. Tones And I is a creative force and never stops pushing forward.

Pet Shop Boys said today: “We’re very excited to release this new album. Its 10 tracks are the strongest indicators of where we are today. Like much of our music it’s very reflective. It was great to work with James Ford, who we think has brought new elements to our music. Our demos are sometimes quite complicated, and James has dared to make us a bit more minimal at times – but also, the string arrangements are very beautiful. Some of the record is quite heart-breaking, but we hope a lot of it is also uplifting. It’s a record we’re very proud of.”

Parlophone Managing Director Jennifer Ivory added: Pet Shop Boys and Parlophone enjoyed an incredibly successful and creative partnership which spanned almost 30 years, so it feels amazing to have them back with us. One of the most innovative and inventive acts to come out of the UK, their new music continues to evolve and push boundaries while they continue to blaze their own trail. We couldn’t be happier to be working with them again on this new and exciting stage of their career. Parlophone is overwhelmingly proud to welcome Neil and Chris back home!”.

“A marriage of two of the most celebrated members of Manchester’s music scene.” – The Guardian

“It’s glorious, gargantuan, and so confident it borders on ridiculous. There is also nothing else like it in music right now.
The sound of the early 1990s with a contemporary twist.” – Clash

“This has stirred my little shoegazing soul.” – Evening Standard

The news that Manchester icons Liam Gallagher and John Squire were collaborating on a new project ignited a wave of anticipation – uniting the personality and attitude of the Oasis frontman’s vocals with the remarkable guitar talents of The Stone Roses’ creative force would surely be something special. And their debut track, ‘Just Another Rainbow’, lived up to the hype as it hit #16 on the UK singles chart while also shooting direct to #1 on the sales, downloads, vinyl and physical singles charts – in the process achieving Liam’s highest singles chart entry in fifteen years.

But that was just the start. Now Liam Gallagher and John Squire announce much more from their collaboration. Their self-titled debut album will be released on March 1st and is today launched alongside its second single, ‘Mars To Liverpool’. They also announce details of their first UK tour together, as well as select shows in Ireland, France, Germany, Italy and the USA.
Liam says, “I can’t wait for people to hear the album. I think the people that are into the Stone Roses and Oasis and that kinda thing, I think they’ll fucking love it. It’s spiritual, it’s crucial. LG x”

John adds, “It was really inspiring to have those Knebworth gigs fresh in my mind as I started writing. Then it was a case of trying to steer it away from all being too rocky, and trying to mix up the sentiments as well. I like the way that in some parts, it’s quite melancholic and it can make you well up, but there are other parts that are kind of irreverent, rude or crude. There’s a little bit of everything in there, I think it’s a really good mix. I had a hunch that we’d sound good together, but I wasn’t prepared for it to be such a good fit.”

Like ‘Just Another Rainbow’ before it, ‘Mars To Liverpool’ delivers exactly what you’d hope from the pair. Delivering infectious rock ‘n’ roll with an undercurrent of ‘60s-tinged psychedelia, it sees John weaving inventive guitar work – chiming riffs, fluid classic rock solos  around Liam’s uplifting vocal delivery. As with the best of their work from their famous bands and solo work, ‘Mars To Liverpool’ elevates its air of melancholy into a soaring, crowd-pleasing anthem. So that’s now two killer singles to maximise anticipation for the release of the album.

Long-terms friends with a mutual admiration for each other’s work, the idea of a collaboration started when John joined Liam on-stage at his biblical Knebworth shows. Song ideas were soon flowing, and the album took shape with an intuitive intensity during in Los Angeles with the revered producer Greg Kurstin. He played bass throughout the record, while drums were performed by Joey Waronker (Beck, R.E.M., Atoms For Peace).

The album is now available to pre-order HERE. Physical formats include standard CD and vinyl, a Deluxe split-colour vinyl, a white vinyl stocked by HMV and select indie stores, and an Amazon exclusive orange EcoRecord vinyl. Fans who pre-order the album from the official store by 3pm on Tuesday, January 30th will receive access to a pre-sale for tour tickets. The pre-sale will open at 9:30am on Wednesday, January 31st before any remaining tickets go on general sale from 9:30am on Friday, February 2nd.

The tour will see Liam and John lead a band completed by Barrie Cadogan (Little Barrie, Paul Weller) on bass and Joey Waronker on drums. All shows except Brooklyn feature support from Jake Bugg. The dates are:
