Following his #1 worldwide hit ‘See You Again’ with Wiz Kahlifa, Charlie Puth is back with his new smash hit, ‘Marvin Gaye’, the track has already climbing the singles and airplay charts in the US and is out today in Ireland .
The video has already amassed over 30m views on Youtube and nearly 40 Million streams on Spotify. The New Jersey-based singer/songwriter/producer has already been on tour with Meghan in the US. Charlie Puth first attracted national notice when his YouTube cover version of Adele’s “Someone Like You” caught the ear of Ellen DeGeneres, who invited Puth to perform on her nationally syndicated show before signing him to a development deal with her eleveneleven record label.
The young artist has since found himself among modern pop’s most in-demand co-writers and producers, with recent credits including tracks by Pitbull, Jason Derulo, and Songbook Entertainment/Atlantic’s own Trey Songz.A New Jersey native and Berklee College of Music graduate, Puth – who makes a surprise cameo in Meghan Trainor’s smash “Dear Future Husband” companion video – is currently hard at work writing and recording his Atlantic Records debut EP. The as-yet-untitled collection will arrive later this year.
